Statistics resource of the day: Hans Rosling

Hans Rosling is a Swedish doctor and statistician who has become something of a TED celebrity with lively videos on global statistics, in effect making stats cool. Most of his videos can be found on his author page on TED, but then you have to deal with TED’s custom Flash player which is annoying when YouTube offers such a better alternative. So I figured I’d organize his talks by date here accessed from YouTube as an optimal source. I’ll be mostly restricting these to his TED Talks, but there is a dedicated YouTube channel called Gapcast that has many shorter videos on specific topics.

Hopefully in the future I’ll add to this page as new vids comes out, since he seems to at least be an annual TED regular.
